Deepika Padukone modeling Life

Deepika Padukone first came into lime light through modeling. It was her first step to the showbiz world. Deepika Padukone’s first ramp walk was at The Vogue Institute of Fashion Technology, Bangalore in 2003. It was the start of this talented beauty and she has never looked back. Having a slim figure and sexy outlook, it was easier for her to rock in modeling. In her short modeling career, Deepika Padukone has experience of performing for various products in print and television advertisements. Deepika Padukone has modeled for Liril soap, Close-Up toothpaste and Limca. However, she made it in the international level when she became the international cover girl face of Maybelline. Besides the success, Deepika Padukone has been given lots of modeling offers including the brand ambassadorship of the Jewells in India.

Just three years after her ramp debut, Deepika Padukone got the Model of the Year award in the fifth Annual Kingfisher fashion award and was one of the models of Kingfisher Swimsuit calendar for 2006. Two years earlier in 2004, Deepika got her first award in modeling as she was awarded the Society Young Achievers’ Award. Deepika achieved two mover awards in 2006 at the Idea Zee F Awards: Female model of the year (commercial assignments) and Fresh Face of the Year.

Actually, it would not be so easy for Deepika Padukone to get into modeling unless she got the support of her parents because she had to leave her study because of modeling. It was her parents who always supported Deepika and gave priority to her wishes. Regarding her swimsuit appearance, Deepika said that she did not mind wearing a bikini as she knew what she could do and what could not. Such a matured response proves that Deepika Padukone came into showbiz world not only for getting some fame but also for winning all the way.
